Volunteer Opportunities
All volunteers are considered members. There are several ways for members to donate their time and skills:
- Trail Manager: Maintain a 1–2-mile trail section by collecting trash and reporting issues like fallen trees or vandalism. All supplies are provided.
- Trail Maintenance Team: This group meets weekly in the summer and early fall to repair erosion and ensure trail safety. Volunteers should be physically fit for heavy work; all equipment is provided.
- Trail Blazing Team: This team meets periodically to clear vegetation from hiking trails using provided string trimmers and safety equipment.
- Trail Gardener: Volunteers maintain trailhead gardens by planting in the spring, weeding during the summer, and performing seasonal cleanup in the fall.
